mysig is a mental wellness app designed to help you find calm in under five minutes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We believe in full transparency — nothing here is hidden.

Each time you use the app, we record:
We store this data to show you your own history and to analyze patterns across all users in aggregate — so we can understand which protocols work best for which emotional states and improve the app over time. Your emotional state data is linked to your account and stored on our servers. We do not sell it or share it with advertisers.
We log basic events such as account created, login, session started, and session completed. These include timestamps and your app version. We use this to understand how the app is being used and to diagnose problems.
Our third-party services (listed below) automatically collect device information including your IP address, device model, operating system version, app version, and locale. This is standard practice for authentication and subscription management.
Some data is stored only on your device and never transmitted to our servers: your reminder times, theme preference, and a local cache of your session history for faster loading.

We use Firebase to authenticate your account and store your data. Firebase is operated by Google. Your account data, session data, and usage events are stored on Firebase servers. Google may collect IP addresses and device metadata as part of operating this service. Google Privacy Policy →

If you sign in with Google, Google's OAuth service processes your authentication. We receive your Google email address and display name. Google Privacy Policy →
If you sign in with Apple, Apple's authentication service processes your sign-in. We may receive your email address (or a private relay address) and name on first sign-in only, at your discretion. Apple Privacy Policy →
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, de-identified data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

mysig is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and Firebase's built-in security infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
